Las Vegas Recovery Center (LVRC) is excited to share that Governor Brian Sandoval appointed our Chief Medical Officer, Melvin Pohl, MD, DFASAM  to serve as a member of Nevada’s Commission on Behavioral Health.

Dr. Pohl’s serving term began on March 19, 2018 and will end on June 30, 2021. Dr. Pohl along with 9 other leading professionals will help oversee the Nevada’s public system of integrated care.

This includes treatment of both adults and children in the field of mental health, substance abuse, and developmental disabilities, as well as other related conditions.
