In 2010 it was reported that in Clark County, Nevada(Las Vegas) there were 288 deaths as a result of prescription drug overdoses. On average there were four different substances found in each individuals system at the time of death. Ninty-five percent of the people had at least one indicator of substance abuse and eighty-five percent of the deaths were ruled accidents not suicides.
